Organised by the Guild of Fine Food, the Great Taste awards are the acknowledged benchmark for fine food and drink and have even been described as the Oscars of the food world.
The all important judging…
In 2019, 12,772 products, including Boosh Organic Chicken Bone Broth, were sent in from over 100 different countries to be blind-tasted. The judging took place at Guild House, Gillingham, Dorset and No. 42 Southwark Street, London over 70 days and included 550 of the most demanding palates. For instance, food critics, chefs, cooks, restaurateurs, buyers, retailers and producers, as well as a whole host of food writers and journalists.
Following the judging we were delighted to win a highly coveted 1-star Great Taste award, placing in the top 26% of entries!
The judges dubbed it a food that delivers fantastic flavour, as can be seen from their comments: ‘Attractively presented with a golden sheen. It smells warming and enticing. The taste is clean, well-seasoned [….] with a good depth of flavour with savoury notes. A delicate, appealing and well produced broth.’
