Too hungry to make something so you’ll just have a packed of crisps, some pieces of cheese and a chocolate bar instead?

If you’ve answered yes to any of the above keep scrolling for our selection of working from home ideas on what to eat for lunch. From quick and healthy soups, to lovely leftovers to rapid ramens and perfect one pots – we’ve got suggestions to suit everyone.

Quick and healthy soups

Comforting and easy to make, soup is a perfect lunch time meal, with plenty of different flavour options and varieties to choose from. Spend some time making a favourite soup recipe over lunch and swap the stock for bone broth to add an extra depth of flavour. We would recommend trying our Boosh Organic Chicken Bone Broth – winner of the Great Taste award 2019, in a chicken and asparagus soup, or in James Martin’s chicken and chorizo broth, or in a Mexican bean soup with chicken and lime. Make sure you serve yours with a chunk of buttered crusty bread!

Lovely leftovers

Make more the night before so that come lunch time you have a tasty meal ready for reheating. Food is often even better the next day, which is definitely the case for our Spaghetti Bolognese, which uses Boosh Organic Beef Bone Broth instead of beef stock. Simply warm your leftover sauce in a pan on the stove (until piping hot) and cook some pasta while you wait. Click here for the Boosh Bolognese recipe.

Rapid ramens

Not much can beat noodles for a quick and tasty lunch, and, noodle dishes are great for using up leftover cooked meat like chicken or vegetables that need eating. We’ve used mushrooms, chilli and spring onions for this chicken noodle soup recipe, but you could also add beansprouts, tender-stem broccoli, sweetcorn or whatever vegetables you have on hand. We’ve used Boosh Chilli & Lemongrass Organic Chicken Bone Broth to add extra flavour and nutrients.

Perfect one pots

Finally, here are some great quick and easy meal suggestions from SheerLuxe, featuring Boosh Organic Chicken Bone Broth. Each recipe uses just a few ingredients, and is definitely our kind cooking, using just one pot for even less washing up! We can’t decide which to try first – the short cut Faisinjan, the sausage and bean stew or the soothing chicken soup..? Click here to take a look at the recipes.

If you are working from home, make sure you take a proper break to eat lunch. Food and drink are life’s great pleasures and are made even better if you can enjoy them with some company. Sit down and eat with loved ones if you can or set up a video call with colleagues or friends.

All great things come to an end. And BOOSH is one of them.

Due to the difficulties of importing from Europe post Brexit and the ever increasing costs we are faced with, we have reluctantly decided to stop trading for the foreseeable future. The plan was always to move manufacturing to the UK. We are still looking for alternative solutions, yet there still remain many challenges abound.

We've loved creating Boosh bone broth and together we have succeeded in spreading around its benefits. Thank you for being part of this fantastic journey. Boosh bone broths will continue to be sold on Ocado (while stock lasts).

Feel everyday wonderful. ️Love from the Boosh Foods team x
